Unleash The Beast
2024 APBA National Points Series
Round 4: RWO Ocean City Grand Prix
Immediately following the conclusion of the Lake of The Ozarks "Shootout Offshore", M CON Racing packed up and headed for Ocean City, Maryland for the Race World Offshore: Ocean City Grand Prix. Being the last race before the summer break, and promising double points in the APBA National Series, this race would be critical to M CON's pursuit of reclaiming their title of National Champions.
Despite wildly rough conditions on the Atlantic, and the absence of team Owner & Throttleman: Tyler Miller at the sticks due to injury, your US-1 reigning Two-Time World Championship team successfully powered their way to another APBA Racing National Series victory!

Attributed to a combination of excellent leadership, performance, skill, detail, and perseverance, your M CON Racing Super Cat Team certainly solidified its position (again) amongst the highest class of Offshore Powerboat Teams in America.

As Rig Master & Crew Member: Mike Powell pointed out, “This team just doesn’t make mistakes”

In the Super Cat class, the competition was intense. Driver Myrick Coil and fill-in throttleman Johnny Tomlinson skillfully navigated the Skater to an impressive second-place finish. Despite their best efforts, WHM Motorsports edged ahead in a thrilling race, putting M CON Racing in 3rd Place finishing position for this race.
Meanwhile, in the Class 1 race, Tyler Miller made a triumphant return to the throttles alongside driver Myrick Coil. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of the M CON crew, their vessel was primed for victory. Their efforts paid off as they clinched the win in just the second race of the Class 1 schedule, showcasing the team’s unwavering commitment to excellence and determination.
Round 2: Thunder On Cocoa Beach
Round 2 of the APBA National Points Series kicked off in Cocoa Beach, Florida with P1 Offshore's "Thunder on Cocoa Beach". Despite their regular throttleman, Tyler Miller, being sidelined due to recent surgery, the M CON Racing team did not let this setback slow them down. With Myrick Coil at the helm and the legendary Johnny Tomlinson stepping in as throttleman, the claimed their second victory of the season, clinching the first-place trophy in the Super Cat Class.
At this event, M CON Racing also saw their 2024 Season debut of the Skater 438 Monster Energy Class 1 boat. In this class, M CON Racing delivered another inspiring performance. Even though they didn’t take home the checkered flag, the fierce competition and relentless determination displayed by the crew was truly commendable.
The focus now shifts to the next race, with the entire M CON Racing team working tirelessly to fine-tune every detail, ensuring they are ready to dominate at Lake of the Ozarks.
Round 1: 7 Mile Offshore Grand Prix
